  12. SALT LAKE CITY, April 19, 1993 — Dayna Communications, Inc., shipped the latest
  13. update to its popular MS-DOS mounting application called DOS Mounter Plus
  14. today.

  16. DOS Mounter Plus has all of the features found in the original DOS Mounter,
  17. including MS-DOS file access on the Macintosh desktop, Extension Mapping, and
  18. DOS disk formatting capabilities, but includes more functionality and an easier
  19. to use interface.

  21. In addition to providing access to files on MS-DOS removable media, DOS Mounter
  22. Plus now includes the capabilities of Dayna's NetMounter, which provides access
  23. to NetWare 2.15, 2.2, 3.11, and 4.0 file servers, without NetWare for
  24. Macintosh. With a simple click in a Control Panel, NetMounter appears in the
  25. Chooser allowing server volumes to be mounted directly on the desktop. All
  26. AppleTalk and AppleShare services remain in operation.

  28. Other new features include a new graphical interface, easy installation,
  29. support of magneto-optical drives, and faster DOS media formatting. DOS Mounter
  30. Plus also comes with MultiMounter and MultiFormatter. The MultiMounter driver
  31. provides highly reliable access to all popular brands of MS-DOS formatted
  32. removable media. MultiFormatter is a fully-functional application for
  33. formatting, partitioning and testing removable media of all types.

  35. DOS Mounter Plus will allow an active Mac-to-DOS user to have a DOS floppy, a
  36. NetWare volume, a DOS SyQuest drive, a DOS Bernoulli drive, and a DOS
  37. magneto-optical drive all mounted on the Macintosh desktop at the same time. It
  38. also is the only product of its kind that will mount the Apple PC Drive 5.25.

  42. DOS Mounter Plus is available immediately at a U.S. suggested retail price of
  43. $99.95.

  45. All current owners of DOS Mounter, NetMounter, AccessPC, PC Exchange, SoftNode,
  46. or any other DOS disk mounting utility can upgrade to DOS Mounter Plus for just
  47. $24.95 by contacting Dayna Customer Service and providing their current product
  48. serial number. Users who purchased DOS Mounter 3.x or NetMounter 1.x after
  49. January 1, 1993 can upgrade to DOS Mounter Plus free of charge by contacting
  50. Dayna Customer Service.
